I got the inspiration from Just a moment cross stitch website but this is my own design which i did on my cross stitch pattern software on my PC. I started stitching yesterday and i am hoping to have it finished tomorrow.

The snow is melting so i am happy. My back is still hurting but i can ease the pain with a hot water bottle behind me while i stitch. I am hoping to get loads of stitching done today. Got to go shopping later and we have got quite a bit to get to make sure we're sorted for the week for food. Well i'm off to do a few chores then it's stitchy time until we go shopping.

Well we woke to about 6 inches of snow this morning. Not what we wanted to be honest. It's been a long hard day. Been in pain since about 2am and it's still going strong even after painkillers. I am very bored right now so i am going to try and do some stitching on Train of dreams. Wish me luck. Lol ;-)

I roughly did about 6 hours stitching on Curl up with a good book. The decanter top on page one is really taking shape. I also started the green book to the left of the decanter.

I am well chuffed with myself. Today (Wednesday) i did exactly 800 stitches on Curl up with a good book. That is the most i've done on a HAED in one day. I'm so chuffed. :-)

After chatting to a lady on FB about going through stitchy stash with a cuppa tea and some biscuits i decided to go through all my stash. All the stash i have is kept on a 5 shelf unit which is packed from top to bottom and a small 3 draw filing cabinet which is beside my cross stitching armchair. That was packed solid too. The bottom draw which is about a foot deep had loads of evenweave packs in sizes 22,25 & 28 count. When all stacked on to off on another the pile was at least a foot high. That now is all in a storage box on my 5 shelf unit. There was just so much stuff, odds and ends which i totally forgot i had.
Anyway the whole sort out took me about 3 hours. I have sorted the fabric got for my new start HAED Curl up with a good book but i've not yet made a single stitch. Not sure if i'll do any stitching tonight now because i am absolutely shattered. Lol Oh well there's always tomorrow. xXx

My stitchy bug completely deserted me today so to get it back i am starting my sixth HAED. I have chosen Curl up with a good book. Spangler's designs always get my bug going. I'll still have Astronomer out to work on but i can't stitch that while my bug has gone on vacation. Starting a new one will end that vacation so i am going to go ahead and start it.
This uses 86 colours and has a total of 192,600 stitches.

I started my stitching day on my HAED The Astronomer before 1pm and i stopped before 6pm for dinner. Once we had dinner i went back to stitching for another 2 hours. I am quite pleased with how much i got done today and i am hoping to get loads done tomorrow too.

..go do some dinner and once i've had that i am going to go do some stitching on my HAED The Astronomer. This HAED uses 120 colours and there is a lot of confetti stitching so it's taking longer to stitch but i am enjoying it a lot. I will try to remember to post an update over the weekend. We had 3 of our friends come round and play games of Warhammer with my husband Pete and we cooked a leg of lamb roast dinner with green beans, green cabbage, broccoli, baby carrots, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puds with lots of gravy and mint sauce. It went down a treat and everything got eaten. There wasn't anything left that we could of given the dogs other than some gravy which they had poured over their dinner. I washed and wiped up after dinner seeing as hubby did all the cooking. Once that was done i sat down to my stitching. Just about to go back to it until i'm ready for me bed. I hope you all had a good Sunday. xXx

Not done any stitching on this since the last photo i posted on the 4th because i have got a nasty dry tickly cough and have a lot of coughing fits which result in wrenching and a little sickness. So obviously i don't want to be near Train of dreams when that happens. I will get back to it as soon as the coughing has calmed down or stopped all together. Still been satisfying my stitchy bug with stitching small Christmas tree ornaments for a Facebook stitching group. I do miss Train of dreams and can't wait to be able to get back to it.

My darling hubby (Pete) is on his way home from Nottingham. He should be here very soon. I can't wait for a cuddle. Last cuddle was Friday morning just before he left.

Pete will be back home tonight. Yay. I have missed him terribly. Can't wait to have him back.
As for stitching It doesn't look like i'll get the second page on Train of dreams finished this weekend. I had a such early morning yesterday and i was so tired all day i just couldn't get in the swing of things when it came to my stitching. I slept in a bit later this morning so i am hoping to get loads done today. So here goes. Lol Have a good Sunday followers. xXx

I've not done any stitching on Train of dreams since the update i did on Wednesday due to stitching a Halloween fridge magnet for an exchange of a group on Facebook. I do not like Halloween but i am doing this exchange because i am stitching something different and something i wouldn't stitch for myself. I am hoping to finish it within the next day or two just so i can go back to stitching Train of dreams.

The move went well and thankfully it didn't take us long to sort out all our stuff. We have been here a whole week now and it's gone so quick. As a little treat to myself after not being able to stitch for a few weeks i started a new HAED on the 22nd September. It's called Cascade and it's by Jonathon Earl Bowser.

Here's how she is looking after few hours stitching on the 22nd and 23rd. I have started at the bottom right hand corner. She is being stitched on 22ct Fine Ariosa in Antique white. Stitching 2 over 1.

Tomorrow my husband and i will be moving and sadly as of tonight we will have no Internet until the 21st. The pc is going round to the flat late tonight along with the TV and Sky and BT can't switch us over until the 21st. So i won't be online until sometime Wednesday. Most of that time we'll be getting settled in and then get back into our hobbies. Looking forward to the move but will be so glad once it's all over. See you all next week. Happy stitching. xXx

Our move has been set for next weekend, starting Friday 16th. Basildon council told us they was happy to start my father in law's tenancy here on the 12th but Swan housing say they can't start our until the 19th but Basildon council said we we can move in a couple of beforehand. So this time next week we'll be moving and i cannot wait. I have not done any stitching on any of my HAED's in a couple of weeks so i'll be happy once the move is all done and i can get my HAED's back out and stitch.

Yesterday i did almost 1000 stitches on Love me not. Page 2 is really close to being finished. I've even started stitching her face which looks absolutely stunning so far. Going to try and finish the page today.

Although it's update day tomorrow (Friday) i won't be able to post a picture due to my camera has been packed and is round the flat and i don't want to go get it because i have no idea which box it's in and i don't want to have to move that backwards and forwards from the flat. I will be stitching Love me not now until we have done the move, then i'll post an update picture. So far she is looking good and page 2 is getting closer to being finished. At the moment i'm filling in all the black because there is loads to do. There are some other colours in her hair but those won't take as long as the black will. Once all of her hair is done i'm then going to stitch her face.

I can't take it any more. I need to have a HAED to stitch and Pete wants some miniatures to paint before we go crazy waiting for Basildon council to say yes to the move. I'm posting an update now because later today we'll be packing up our hobby bits and some other stuff to drop off at the flat that we are swapping with my husbands dad. Once we have moved everything and things start to settle i'll get back to stitching my HAED's. So for a time they'll be packed away and in the meantime i'll be stitching some free kits i have from mags to tide me over.

Today i have been a stitching machine. The needle has barely left my hand. I have stopped for the night and it's now 7:05pm and i have been stitching from about 10:45am. With the small breaks i've had for lunch and dinner i must have done over 7 hours stitching. The update i posted today was how The Astronomer looked this morning but now i have less than 900 black stitches left of this page. I'd do more tonight but my back hurts from sitting for so long. I'll get back to it tomorrow. I'm hoping to finish this page tomorrow.

Here's another update. I can't say i'm too pleased with how much i got done this week. I was hoping to finish this page but we've been so busy i've hardly had any time at all to stitch. I spent about 3-4 hours stitching on The Astronomer (HAED) today and i've done over 300 stitches which i am very pleased with. I did a change in my stitching. On the work i have done already on all of my HAED's i've been working roughly 5 or 6 10x10 blocks across at a time but now i'm doing 1 10x10 block at a time.It cuts down large areas of 1 colour, which at the moment on The Astronomer is black.
I am hoping to do plenty more stitching tomorrow, maybe another 300 stitches will get done.

I've not updated in ages on here so i'll give you a quick update.

Dragon Soul got started again due to a big mistake i made and was unable to un-stitch it or work round it. This time it's being stitched without the back ground. I will be going back to this on January 1st 2011 and will be working on it for a month.

Sacred Connection will be worked on in February and The Pack, (new wip) will be stitched in March.

At the moment i'm working on a blackwork Biscofleur and the picture below is how the finished squares look. I will start stitching the square together tonight.
