Yay it's finished.

Big decision on my HAED Dragon soul.

I have made a big decision with Dragon soul. I have not been enjoying stitching it since i decided to stitch it without the marbled back ground. So i have decided to restitch it as a QS. The main part that i like is the lady and the little Dragon in the palm of her hand so stitching this as a QS would be perfect for me. I am going to get out the chart sometime today maybe and cut down the chart to what i want to really stitch and Go from there. I may stitch this on white or i may go for a hand dyed fabric but i do know if i keep this project as it is i'll never have the heart or want to finish it...ever. But doing this i feel excited about Dragon soul again.

Crappy weather = stitchy day. :-)

I will be trying to finish this today. I have the word Residence to stitch and some large cross stitches at the top and bottom to stitch so hopefully i'll get it all done today maybe even framed and put up on the wall too.

Here's my finished Welcome sampler with a cute little squirrel charm at the top. Going to sort the frame out tomorrow so i will post another photo in it's frame. I used Lizzie Kate's Autumn alphabet for this.

Day 3 on Dragon Sugilite. 2 over 1 tent stitch on 25ct on white and grey marbled evenweave. I am not stitching the back ground.

Back to stitching The Astronomer.

I went back to stitching this because i really fancied stitching colour and confetti stitching which i know can be a nightmare for some. ;-) Here's how it was looking when i last had this out in November 2011.

Here's how Love me not is looking today. All of the black and most of DMC 939 is stitched on page 3 but you can't tell the difference between the two in the photo. Once i have finished the rest of this page i going to start the page underneath which will finish of the rest of her hair.
